Welcome to AFIPTISP, the Spanish association with an international focus that brings together trainers, researchers and professionals in the field of translation and interpreting in public services.
AFIPTISP is an association of trainers, researchers and professionals in the field of translation and interpreting that aims to improve the translation and interpreting services provided for migrants who do not speak the language of their host country at public service settings.
The association not only includes translators and interpreters, but also gives a voice to professionals in Public Service Translation and Interpreting (PSIT) who have devoted their time to research, and to trainers who care about the new generations of professionals. For this reason, a significant part of AFIPTISP’s mission addresses training and dissemination through activities (courses, conferences, symposiums, webinars, etc.) available to members and the general public.
